🎉 Introducing: Play & Pause – Monthly Brain Games for FND Wellness

We’re excited to launch a new initiative here at Not Defined By FND — a series of free, interactive monthly games designed to support focus, cognitive flexibility, and mental well-being. We’re calling it:

👉 Play & Pause

🧠 Why Games?

Living with Functional Neurological Disorder (FND) often involves navigating symptoms that impact concentration, reaction time, memory, and processing. While there’s no one-size-fits-all approach, many people with FND benefit from tools and exercises that help “retrain the brain.” That’s where Play & Pause comes in.

These short games are designed to give your brain a workout — in a light, low-pressure way. They offer moments to play, stretch your focus or mental agility, and then pause to reflect, reset, or rest. Over time, regular mental engagement can contribute to:

  • Improved concentration and attention span

  • Enhanced reaction and processing speed

  • Support for neuroplasticity (the brain’s ability to rewire and adapt)

  • Mindful breaks in your day that feel purposeful and fun

Whether you're managing FND symptoms or just looking for a quick cognitive boost, Play & Pause is here for you.

📅 What to Expect Each Month

Every month, we’ll feature a new free game to play directly from our website. Some may be focused on memory, others on attention or logic — always with a brain-healthy purpose. We'll also archive past games so you can revisit them anytime.

Stay tuned for:

  • New challenges each month

  • Friendly reminders to pause and play

  • A growing library of mindful, brain-friendly fun

🙌 Join Us

This is more than just a game — it’s part of our mission to offer hope, encouragement, and tools for navigating life with FND. We believe in healing through understanding, community, and creativity.

We hope these games bring you a few moments of joy, clarity, or calm in your day.

Be sure to check back monthly for a new Play & Pause game, and feel free to share with friends and family.
