Looking for a fun way to connect with others? Play & Connect Game Night is a virtual event hosted by Not Defined By FND, designed to bring people together in a lighthearted and inclusive space. While our mission focuses on raising awareness, ending stigma, and advocating for those affected by Functional Neurological Disorder (FND), this event is open to everyone!

Through a variety of online games, we aim to build friendships, reduce isolation, and create meaningful social interactions. At Not Defined By FND, we believe that laughter, connection, and shared experiences are essential for mental and emotional well-being. No matter where you are, you’re invited to join the fun—because games are better when played together! 🎮💛

How It Works

📅 When? The 13th of every month—because FND Awareness Day is April 13, and we love keeping the tradition going!

📢 You Pick the Game! Before each event, we vote on which game to play—think trivia, charades, board games, and other fun, easy-to-join options.

💻 Where? We meet on Zoom and play using accessible online platforms, so you can join from anywhere!

Game Night Expectations

To ensure a fun and engaging experience for everyone during Play & Connect Game Night, please review and follow these expectations:

  • Avoid negative or critical comments about others’ gameplay or decisions.

2. Participate Positively

  • Bring a good attitude and a willingness to have fun, regardless of whether you win or lose.

3. Follow Instructions

  • Pay attention to game instructions and any guidance from the host to ensure smooth gameplay.

  • If you’re new to a game, don’t hesitate to ask questions—everyone is here to have fun and learn together!

When voting for the next game, keep these guidelines in mind to ensure a fun and inclusive experience for everyone:

  • More Players, More Fun! – Games that allow as many participants as possible to join at once are preferred.

  • All Ages Welcome – Games should be appropriate and enjoyable for all age groups.

  • Easy to Learn, Easy to Play – Simple, accessible games ensure everyone can jump in without frustration.

  • No Downloads Required (If Possible) – Games that can be played directly in a browser or with minimal setup are ideal.

  • Inclusive & Respectful – Games should create a welcoming environment, free from offensive content or competitive pressure.
